In remote communities in Canada’s North the high cost of food makes it challenging to keep a family fed with healthy meals. This is especially difficult during winter months when communities are only accessible by air.
This gift provides funding to Indigenous communities to build a chicken coop and buy chicken feed to support a sustainable food source for the entire community.
